What makes a difference for you?

I'm curious to know what makes a difference for you for your day?
****
For me, it is if I get time to wash my hair. Even if I'm not "allowed" time to grab a shower by my 2 year old, if I can get my hair washed then it makes a big difference on how I feel during the day. If not, I feel grubby all day long.
So...what makes a difference for you?

Seeing or talking to a friend! Since I'm at home so much with baby Reed, I appreciate how much it lifts me up to have a friend come visit or see someone while taking Sawyer to school, or even to just talk to them on the phone. I crave my adult interaction more when I can't always be the one to initiate it!

A shower is a big one for me. I will try to fit it in at any point if it's not first thing in the morning. I hate that bed smell and feel!!

Coffee.....definitely coffee. Then maybe a shower ( but I get one of those every day without a problem)

I'm with Kristin. Coffee. With lots of caramel.

I'm with momaof4. I have to have a shower. I don't care what time of day it's done, I have to have my shower. It definitely makes my day better if I can get it in the morning though!!

I'm going to have to go with a shower too. If no shower, then at least washing my face. I feel so much better if I shower first thing in the morning, and I get a ton of stuff done too!

Definitely at least a rinse-off shower. But I also REALLY crave a few quiet minutes to read each day. It helps me stay sane.

Going to bed with a clean house. I love waking up with nothing to do but getting myself and the kids ready for our day.
